As directors, art directors, concept artists, and animation supervisors, we were responsible for adapting the game's universe, visual identity, and narrative
into a 3D horror animated series with a highly detailed and realistic style.
The series explores the history and consequences of violence against women, particularly those who were sacrificed throughout history
in the name of traditions, beliefs, and religious practices, regardless of their social status, wealth, or education.
Through a contemporary story deeply rooted in Chinese history and culture, Paper Bride questions these forgotten tragedies and gives a voice to those who suffered from them.
